This is the wonderful island of Tasmania. The island sits right at the bottom of mainland Australia. If you think of mainland Australia as the Rabbit, then Tasmania is the carrot.
I spent the most formative years of my teens on this Island, emigrating to Australia when I was only just thirteen years old and returning to the UK when I was 18 years old. My entire school life in Tasmania was spent at Claremont High, where I excelled in... absolutely nothing at all, other than drama! Which is probably why I turned out to be a bloody great big drama queen? My father is still on the island and has been living there for some forty-five odd years now. Most of his younger brothers emigrated to Tasmania within a year or two of my family arriving and settling in Tasmania.
